What is Geoicons?

GeoIcons is a geography icon library featuring clean map-shape outlines of countries, territories, and world regions, built as real UI components instead of a collection of raw files.

While thousands of SVG and PNG map assets already exist, most are designed for designers rather than developers. GeoIcons provides tree-shakeable named exports for React, Vue, Angular, and Vanilla JS, allowing you to import only the icons your project actually uses. Customize size, weight, color, and fill through props, use currentColor for seamless theming, and get built-in TypeScript support and accessibility features out of the box.

Raw SVG and PNG files are also available for design workflows and non-code usage.

Launching with 400+ icons and continuously expanding, GeoIcons will grow to include flags, administrative subdivisions, and more geographic assets. It is dual-licensed: free to use under GPLv3, with a commercial license available for closed-source products.
